Already seasoned professionals, our millwrights have performed the following sample rebuilds: 300 Ton Niagara Straight Side Press – complete rebuild, repaired cracked crank shaft and relocated to concrete isolation pad and start-up. 400 Ton Schuler Press - crank shaft was cracked in half, repaired all main bearings, sleeved the bull gear bore, repaired shaft diameter, re-cut keys, and start-up. 400 Ton Danly Straight Side Press – Ram adjust barrels dismantled, repaired and re-machined the threads and start-up. 250 Ton Straight Side Blow Press – back shaft was broken in half, designed and machined new back shaft and performed start-up. 400 Ton VSS Press – Adjustable stroke was broken. Dismantled press, removed crank shaft, machined adjustable stroke teeth off, machined new parts, cut keys, locked adjustable stroke in a fixed position, re-assembled and performed start-up. 800 Ton Danly – Isolated the four ram adjust points, adjusted for parallelism by off setting target ram adjust, re-connected ram adjust and performed start-up. |
